The Shoreline at Park Beach is a luxury retirement and residential Aged Care village situated in Coffs Harbour. With 185 architecturally-designed open-plan apartments and townhouses, and 120 residential Aged Care beds, Shoreline is a new modern benchmark in retirement living for NSW.
With the challenges of increasing government compliance requirements and ongoing reforms, Shoreline came to NCIS realising it needed to invest in sustainable and scalable infrastructure to keep up to date with IT innovations. It also understood that a more effective communications system would help cut the legacy costs associated with traditional networks, ensuring it could continue to provide the best value and care to its residents.
Working with Boffa Robertson Group, Clarence Consultants and the team at Bachrach Naumburger Group, NCIS will supply, install and commission a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) IP transport layer which enables all The Shoreline at the Park’s services to be fully integrated into the network. This simple, scalable and sustainable fibre network will allow the Aged Care facility to grow and innovate for the years to come, helping fulfil its goal of providing luxury entertainment and care to its retirees and elderly residents, while keeping up with technology demands and containing costs.
