Sawtell Catholic Care is a not for profit, dynamic and innovative aged care organisation that offers residents comfortable, community centred living. Their 101 bed Mater Christi facility is located on the north coast of NSW and boasts 24 hour nursing support, hotel like services and a beautiful, light filled environment.
It is of the utmost importance for aged care facilities to have an accurate understanding of the health and wellbeing of their residents. Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS) play a vital role in providing this, as they are able to constantly monitor all of an individual’s most critical health indicators. SCC approached NCIS requiring the installation of state of the art, future proofed RTLS technology for an initial 16 beds trial.
NCIS partnered with Talius in order to install revolutionary RTLS technologies, including the Talius AI, Talius Sleep Sense and Talius Falls Radar. These potentially lifesaving services work in conjunction in order to provide SCC with the most up to date health and wellbeing information, and connect nurses and care providers with the most appropriate next actions.
