Georges Estate Health & Aged Care is a $70 million residential Aged Care facility owned by the award-winning Hall & Prior Group. The new residence provides an innovative and care-focused approach to Aged Care in the Penshurst region, with 111 beds and in-home and community Aged Care services that cater to all levels of care needs. It also provides specialist amenities, including a secure dementia care wing, as well as additional luxuries like a gymnasium, cinema and a heated swimming pool.
With the goal of attracting clientele and providing the best services in a competitive Aged Care industry, Hall & Prior recognised its new residential facility needed the absolute latest in communications technology. With NCIS being selected to provide communications infrastructure to Hall & Prior’s other facility, Karingal Village, the organisation identified that a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) should be a standard to ensure the provision of technologically-advanced care to its residents, both now and in the future.
