SCC is a dynamic, innovative Aged Care organisation offering high-quality, living experiences to its resident community. Located in Marian Grove and Mater Christi on the North Coast of New South Wales, SCC strives for excellence in spiritual, clinical, physical and emotional care.
Ensuring its residents remain connected to friends and family is very important to SCC. In search of ways to guarantee long term value for residents, SCC selected NCIS to provide the latest in communications infrastructure. With the traditional wired copper networks being shut down and documented issues around the NBN roll out, SCC required a dedicated fibre design that could also overcome several additional telecommunications obstacles.
With a strong understanding of residential Aged Care facilities and the unique needs of the industry, NCIS installed a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) IP transport layer which enables SCC’s services to be fully integrated into the network. This simple, scalable and sustainable fibre network will enable future innovation and growth for SCC and its residents and guests, benefiting the facility in the following ways:
